Arise South Africa, a political party that aims to improve the lives of South Africans through various programs an d initiatives, is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our team in Pretoria. As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies that will increase our online presence and engagement with our audience.

As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies that will increase our online presence and engagement with our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
- Create and curate engaging and informative content, including text, images, and videos, that aligns with our brand voice and messaging
- Engage with our followers and respond to their inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated experience with social media platforms and tools, such as Hootsuite or Buffer
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Facebook Insights
- Passion for social media and politics, with a keen eye for detail and a creative mindset
- Must be based in Pretoria, South Africa
